Building on the wild success of the inaugural Jewish Food Project, we’re back and better than ever this year, with an expanded events calendar that will keep you inspired in the kitchen from Rosh Hashanah to Shavuot!
While the first JFP featured 15 events in just three weeks, we’re spreading out the excitement this time, offering one program per month, so you can properly savour each mouth-watering event. There will be new local chefs and food bloggers, revamped Old World recipes and cutting-edge cuisine. Montreal’s Jewish community comes from countries as far-flung as Morocco, Argentina, Iraq and Iran; JFP’s 2015 lineup promises to be just as diverse as our participants. No matter your palate preferences, something is sure to appeal!
Mark your calendars for September 2, when our cooking season kicks off with BBQ tapas on a rooftop terrace. Space is limited to 50 people, so get your tickets today!
Stay tuned in the coming months for information on workshops, recipes and articles about Jewish food. We could always use more cooks in the kitchen too, so if you’d like to submit your own article or recipe to the blog, email Meghan Weinstein.
